Which form to use for child born abroad

Post by skilled_migrant » Wed Jul 09, 2014 9:59 am

Hello everybody,

I have already applied for naturalization and waiting for approval. My wife and child (born abroad) have got their ILR since last 12 months. But they did not meet 5 year residence requirement yet, so I did not apply for their citizenship with myself.

Now when they will qualify in next few months which form should I use for child who is under 10?

Of course my wife will be using form AN, how to make that application as joint/family application as one parent and one child.

Expert advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Child needs to use form MN1 and it will be an application under Section 3(1) of the BNA, which is at discretion.

For naturalisation, each person has to complete their own form.
