Schengen work visa from UK

Hi
I hold an Indian passport and am currently in UK on ICT Tier 2 Long Term Visa expiring Sept 2015 (post which I will be eligible for a 2Year extension upto Oct 2017). Now, my work involves traveling to Schengen countries (Swiss, Italy, France, Germany mainly). This can be ad-hoc visits of 1-7days. I need some help with my queries:
- Will I be able to get Schengen work visa and what is the requirement?
- What can be max duration of visa as I would want to avoid any hassle of re-applying again and again?
- Can I apply dependant or any such visa for my wife and son so that they can accompany me anytime if possible?

not really sure but have a look at the below link (visa types section), it may help. your employer in the UK must help you get this schengen business visa sorted
