Indian Passport Renewal By Post

Hi,

My Indian passport has expired on 7th July 2014. I want to renew my passport using postal service.

Also my permanent address in India has changed. I have a photocopy of ration card with my name and new permanent address in India.
So will they accept photo copy of ration card as a proof of my new address.

Also do I need to send my original visa BRP card or can I send them the photocopy of this.

Hi All,

I too have to renew my Indian passport and planing to do it by post.

Could any one provide following information as Indian HCL site is not very clear and there is no reply of emails
- For standard passport, postal order will be drawn for £52 or £54?
- I am on ILR, do I need to send my BRP card also or self attested photocopy will be okay?
