1-Year work visa for Canadian citizen - not a student!

Hi Everyone,

I am going crazy looking for the visa that would apply to my situation. I am a Canadian citizen, living in Ireland since 2005, who wants to go to the US to work for 12 months. I am not a student nor in a sponsorable career. I remember they used to offer working holiday visas to students for 1 year's casual jobs. Is there anything nowadays that would be appropriate? I will be 30 in October if that makes any difference. I am going mainly for travel and to work just to cover rent, food etc. I do not foresee my staying for longer than 12 months.

Any tips would be great! Thanks in advance!
