Tier General Dependent to ILR 10years.Advise needed please

Hi ,

Currently i am on tier 2 general but i am planning to switch to tier 2 depedent .

Is it possible to apply for ILR on 10 years rule on tier 2 dependent status because the main applicant will not be eligible for ILR.
