Nikah Nama for Spouse Visa from Pakistan

Hi all,

I need a bit of help about my spouse visa, got married recently and will be applying for my wife's settlement visa (spouse visa) soon. My Nikah Nama was in english hence no translation is required. I have following questions if someone can confirm.

1. Does Nikah Nama needs to be endorsed by Union Council?
2. Do I need NADRA Marriage Registration Certificate?
3. Does Original Nikah Nama (English one) / NADRA Marriage Registration Certificate (If it is mandatory) / Nadra ID Card of my wife needs to be attested by Foreign Office?

I know pretty basic question, but its better to ask than assume.

3. Does Original Nikah Nama (English one) / NADRA Marriage Registration Certificate (If it is mandatory) / Nadra ID Card of my wife needs to be attested by Foreign Office?

1. As far as I remember mine was attested by union council & notary public before it was attested by foreign office.
2. I did not have NADRA Marriage Registration Certificate however my Mrs had made new NADRA ID card after marriage with my name and her married name on it before applying for UK visa.
3. Dont know about NADRA Marriage Registration Certificate, I dont think its possible to attest Nadra ID Card, however its good to attest Nikah Nama from Foreign office before making UK visa application.

NO, only one from UC

ORIGINAL NIKKAH NAMMAH SHOULD BE IN URDU. It then needs to be translated into English unless you get one in English from the UC( Not all UC give one in English)

My in-laws arranged the English Nikah Nama from UC and it is attested from UC, so I don't need to bother about the Nadra Marriage Reg. Certificate now. (Thank you, Good news).

So regarding attestation from Foreign Office, do I need to get the Original English one I have attested by Foreign Office or not?
