Family visit visa? Queries please help

Hi

Asking on behalf of a friend, she wants to sponsor her cousin from Pakistan on a 6 month visa to the uk to see family and friends. They are first cousins as both individuals mothers are sisters. I was just wondering can this be done? As reading the gov website where it gave a list of relationships cousins etc was not listed and I was under the impression first cousins would be allowed just not 2nd and 3rd etc?

Also is there a complete list of required documents available?

Cousins are not included as family. There are no advantages to being a family visitor anymore anyway!

Thanks for the info vinny! What would be best for her then? A general tourist visa? As she can come see uk see family and friends and travel back?
