Sponsoring your sister-

Hi All,

With the new changes to UKBA website, its a little difficult to find the right info. Hope there is someone here with a similar problem/Question.

I was granted T1- Entre Visa last year. I now want to bring my sister down here as a dependant. I am not able to find the right info on bringing bro/sis through the Dependant Visa route. I have come across two types in my research
1. Spouse Visa
2. Dependant

1.Spouse Visa - to sponsor your wife/husband

2. Dependant - to sponsor children

I might be wrong with this information, If someone can help me put this in perspective that would be awesome.

Your sister can only be your dependent if she is under 18 yrs of age and have no one to look after her, if thats not the case unfortunately you cannot bring her to UK as ur dependent

You could look into the possibility of bringing her in as an employee of your company...

Don't the employees have to be British or settled?

yes but there is no restriction to hire un-settled person
