Document for Absence from UK -Less then 180 days

Hi,

I need to apply ILR and from this thread it seems that now we need to submit the letter from employer stating the absence from UK.

1. Can you please shed light that it is true that we need to show letter and P60/payslip/Stamp on Passport will not work?
2. anyone face the situation where they did not have the letter from employer and recently made successful ILR applications.

Any update please.

There is a case when 2- unpaid leave ( though my total is less then 180 days) spent in India.

Can anyone please help to know that if it break continuity.

Also does we need to provide letter from employer for all UK absence in case of less than 180 days.
