Asylum claim and 7 year son stay period

I was on tier 4 visa for 6 years now and I have already changed to asylum claim and I have a child who was born in the UK and living continuously for over 3 years now. My question: Will my child 7 year stay have to start all over again after claiming asylum and now is considered 0 year?

No, your asylum will have no impact on your son's residency.
