Tier 2 Dependent Visa Ielts Requirement

Hello Every one ( Assalam Aalikum)

My husband is in uk on tier 2 general( Visa) , we have all the information regarding documents, but we are little confused about Ielts , Can Ielts is mandatory for Dependents.

Your Timely response will be highly Appreciated.

Proof of English proficiency is required for the main applicant, not for dependents.
