I'm currently on a Tier 2 General Visa which I got in Dec 2011 after switching from my PSW (therefore there was no need for RLMT). My visa will expire in Dec 2014. My job at the time was under the shortage occupation list - code 2127.
Now my employer is offering me a new role which is a step up (within the same SOC code) but is no longer on the shortage occupation list. The role entails additional responsibilities and a higher salary as well.
1. Would my employer still need to carry out an RLMT this time?
2. What would be the other application requirements?
