Post by Achtung » Sat Jul 14, 2007 6:18 am

Hi all,

My HSMP initial application got approved. Thanks a ton to all the forum members who have taken their time out and helped me in answering my doubts. Ok lets put my timelines.

Application Sent: 18th June(FEDEX BANGALORE)
Application Received: 20th June
Reference Number: 27th June(received mail)(Paid by DD, HDFC JPMORGAN CHASE)
Decision Taken: 5th July
Docs Received: 13th July(MBE Shieffiled, FEDEX)

I think it is time to give back something to the forum. I will try my best to answer queries.

The battle for EC starts. Anyone applying in August(Bangalore/India) do message me).

In the end this forum rocks!!!

Home Office call to employer

Post by cdraina » Mon Jul 16, 2007 6:34 am

Hi Friends,

Please confirm if the Home Office calls applicant's employer in all cases.

I haven't informed my employer about it, I would be in trouble.

Thanks,
CD

@ikon1400 hey if you company sponsors I wud say nothings like that...you apply for EC get through it...and then if you dont liek it you can leave your company in UK as well...that cunning rite?

@cdraina...not always they call the employer...my guess is that they call up when they have some doubts and need clarifications...that's my guess or more prudently they just randomly call up... for my case they did not call up...I think it is better to inform your employer about a call...or give a hint...

Hi Achtung

Can you share the contact details of Fed Ex bangalore. Am not able to reach them on the number mentioned in their site. If you give the address that is also fine.

Thanks !!

@Pantaiema
I remember your help during my NARIC queries...thanks a ton...

Ok about FEDEX I have taken their service while sending documents from bangalore to sheffiled. That's pretty straightforward...just call their customer support...they will come down to your door step to collect your docs...price 1800INR...

While receiving the docs I have taken the help of MBE Sheffield...they have collected from my case worker and sent back the docs to me by FEDEX...
For more details please go thru this:
http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=5821
COST WHOPPING 6,200INR...

Thanks once again Pantaiema...yes a big task ahead...
@vimg07: I submitted the following docs for my period claim Apr 06 to mar 07...
- payslips
- ITR (that's the new ACK form) and Form 16
- Letter from Employer

I am not sure if the ITR worked well but I believe the Letter from Employer saved me. I know a case where it was rejected because of the new IT ACK form. So I would suggest to provide both the secondary evidences. Hope this helps you.
