Can citizenship be revoked if out of the country for long?

Post by sgc » Sat Aug 23, 2014 12:41 pm

Is there a time limit rule for being out of the UK before British citizenship can be revoked, like there is with an ILR visa? Say I get my citizenship, then soon move back to the US indefinitely due to a job change / etc.

I think I should've worded the question more like this:

Nonetheless, I think you got the gist of it. Thanks!

I remember that there was a question in the AN application form, something like "In which country do intend to live after citizenship?"
I always thought the person should intend to live in UK otherwise why they would ask this question.
