Tier2 License in 7 days - FYI

Hi All,
My prospective employer applied on the 18Th og August 2014 for Tier2 visa sponsorship, and they got the license on the 27th August 2014.

Almost 7 days if you exclude the bank holidays. that was quite quick and thought will spread the experience

Hi sarathml86,

That is great news! hard to believe but there is an exception to every rule!
I am in a similar situation. My employer applied for the Licence 3 weeks back but haven't heard anything from them yet, just wanted to know,
1.Is you company a small or medium size company
2. Did they also receive the CoS along with the licence or is that a separate process?

I am trying to figure out why it is taking so long.

For my company it is separate process and i am waiting for cos for more than 6 weeks now

I just realized now after talking to Hr that the ccompany license got expired and re applied for me so I believe ukvi have the company details verified already. Hence got license so quickly this time.

Other wise it will nornally take 4-6 weeks time.

Company applied for license alone and i will proceed with my application soon.. However the best way is to apply both license and tier2 visa toghether based on successful experience of my friend.

Wait pariently you will recieve them soon...

4-6 weeks is the time I don't have now. I have heard it takes 2-3 weeks for the licence to be approved, not sure if there was other reasons.
