Home office reference in FLR(M)??? What is it?

Home office reference in FLR(M)??? What is it?

What is this home office reference number in the FLR(M)?? Is it the number they give you when u make an appointment, because they gave me a number when i made mine, but not sure if this home office reference is a different thing?? Any help please

Yes they will give you that reference number, just to know that you have an appointment with them as they are very tight in security. When you past thru security guards they will check your passport and if they have a paper listed all the names of applicants who have had an appointment at that day.

Ex. Time of your interview around 1pm.... its not really the exact time u will be interviewed as its like first come for served. Anyways, it could only take u couple mins or hr depends on how many applicants in that day.

It is the number on the visa sticker in your passport.
In a few years time we'll look back on immigration control like we look back on American prohibition in the thirties - futile and counter-productive.

yes i called them today, they said if i had applied for a visa before with the home office, i would have one, but i dont have one because i have got an entry clearance which was issued at the brazilian embassy, this is my first time applying for a visa with home office.
