Can I write the CoS number manually on the application?

Hello,

I have submitted the online application and paid my fees for Tier 2 General visa from India without the CoS number. I will be getting the CoS number only tomorrow. Is it okay if I manually write the CoS number on the printout of the application PDF file when I submit it at the VFS centre?
