travelling when application in process

I am planning to apply for british citizenship in the end of October by using the NCS. However, I have also had a trip (3 weeks) booked on the 10th of November for 3 weeks and i was wondering if I could still go on holiday whilst my application is in process.

please shed some light on this matter and thank you very much for your time.

As soon as you apply through NCS you are free to travel without restrictions.
I am sometimes wrong.
