PLEASE HELP AS IM IN DILEMA

Post by simply_the_best » Wed Sep 17, 2014 12:29 pm

Got a friend who wants to apply for cittizenship. Her story is:
Has a child whos been out the country for the last 2 years and he is 4 years old.the boy was born in uk
She works in uk and been out the country at least 90 per year to see her child.
She has been here for 7 years. She is a EEA member
Now my questions are... 1 Is she allowed to apply for cittizenship ??
2 Is the child allowed to have BC ??

Thank you for this I really apreciate an anser as she was begging me to write to u. :P :P :P

Experts can tell you better.

I think if she is an EEA member, her matter is smoother than non-EEA folks.

For what I have read in this forum, if she has PR she can apply, once her BC approves she can have her kid registered here.
That is the path I would choose. Waiting for experts to inform on this case.

Regards.
Being British is a state of mind.

She shouldn't have been absent from the UK for more than 90 days in the 12 month period prior to applying for BC.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
