Travelling to UK during Cooling of Period

Currently I am on Tier 2 ICT. I have discussing with my employer for a 12 month cooling off period before re-applying for Tier-2 General in December 2016. I would like to know if I can travel to UK in some other Visa categories like Business visitor. My employer would like to know if I could get Business Visitor visa and travel to UK during the cooling off Period.
