UK Spouse Visa Last 12 Months From the Date of Application

Hello Everybody

I am going to apply for my Wife as a spouse visa from Dubai. Just bit confused about sentence 12 months from the date of application.

As I am planning to apply under Category B last 12 months payslips required. So I apply on 5 of November how this 12 months will be counted. ?

Like 5/11/2013 till 5/11/2014. OR we can use 1 more month back also.??

Your most recent payslip and bank statements should not be more than 28 days.
