Naturalization for my wife

Post by sadiqr » Tue Oct 07, 2014 6:11 pm

Hi,
My wife came on Tier 1 Dependant on 20/08/2009, she got ILR with me on 23/09/2013, now after 1 year of ILR i want to apply for naturalization. My wife total stay from 1st entry todate is 5 years and 1 month that's including 1 year ILR as well.

Can she apply for Naturalization along with me or no?

I am really thankful for the replies
thanks
Regards

If she was UK resident for 5 years and had ILR for one year she can apply.
I am sometimes wrong.

My wife's total stay is 5 years 1 months,
FRom 1st Entry to ILR = 4 Years and 1 month
and From ILR to date= 1 year

I am confused about the 5 plus 1 year rule, is it 6 years altogether
or 5 years total stay from 1st entry to UK which includes 1 year of ILR as well

It is not 6 years in total.
It is 5 years residency including 1 year ILR.
