Acca is a professional qualification. It is not a degree. Your ILR will be refused on the basis of english requirement.hammad1224 wrote:I will be applying for my ILR [10 year, Inshallah] in December 2014 and my solictor asked me to pass LIUK and English test both for me and my wife.
I know that I have to pass LIUK but English, I disagree with my solicitor. I passed my ACCA from the start to the end in the UK in a UK institution [13 papers in LCA and one paper from Kaplan financial]. I also checked the English language on the Point Based Calculator and it gives me the required points. Do I still have to pass this test?
Second question, my wife came to UK in June 2012 as my dependent on Tier 1 PSW. Do I have to show the maintenance funds of £18,600 as lots of people told me that since she was here before 10/07/2012 so you are not required to show £18,600 salary.
Gurus your advice needed on this.
