Hello guys ,

I dont really know if am in the right forum nut lets try :-)

I would like to travel to germany coming holidays but I am a bit confused.
I am divorced and received the Retained right of residence for 5 years.

Because I am travelling on my own without my ex husband (luckilY) what problem am I going to face in heathrow immigration ?
My solicitor gave me a letter which stayed that am depending on myself not on my ex husband anymore .
Can anyone help me please?

That would be nice

Without travelling along with EU national or joining to EU national you cannot travel without Schengen visa. They will even not look on your solicitor letter.

sorry i forgot to mention , I alread yapplied for a german visa .Which means is in process .
I am fully aware that i need a visa

I applied for a tourist visa because am just staying for 7 days

No problem at all.
If Immigration officer ask you any single question about your EX then simple answer is that you are divorced and retained right of residence.after knowing this they will not ask you any more question about your ex.
