Please help - Earning points proof

Post by sandip_panigrahi » Tue Jul 31, 2007 5:18 am

Hi friends,
I have the following prooofs for earning points :

1) Last 12 months salary slips signed by HR.
2) Salary letter from my employer for the last 12 months.

Is this enough ? Can I do without the bank statement and Income tax return form if I have the above two ?

let me know please,
thanks,
Sandip.

Hi sandip,

You Should mandatorily provide either Bank statement or ITR to prove your earnings.

Also the payslips & letter from the employer are required anyways.

Cheers

If I am providing income from August 2007 - July 2008,then ITR is not the valid document I believe.

Am I Correct ?

you can provide the ITR which covers from Aug2007 till march 2008 .. and for the rest of the period you can provide exceptional evidence

Is that any particular reason why U could not provide bank statement and Income tax ?.

I am saking you because in the new applicaiton form ITR is mandatory. This could also come into the caseworker mind.
The ITR, If it does not cover the period claimed (which majority of people do not) claim, you will need to supply addtional evidence which are Bank statements and Letter from employers.

Dear sandip_panigrahi
If you are appying now and you are working in the UK you only need to provide ITR from April 2006 - March 2007. The rest e.g from April 2007 - To date you need to provide Wage slip + Bank statement, and letter from employer.

I am confused !!!!!!

Post by sandip_panigrahi » Thu Aug 02, 2007 6:14 am

pantaiema,
thanks for the message.

Yes,there is some reason why I want to avoid bank statement. In some of the months my salary is credited with some other description than "salary".For example,1 month's salary is credited with description as "XYZ" where XYZ is the name of the company our company's payroll is outsourced to.

And also,I did not know ITR is mandatory in the new applicaation form.
Since I am providing proof for Aug 2006 - July 2007,I think providing the ITR which is from Apr 2006-Mar 2007 will confuse the case worker.Again from Apr 2006- June 2006 I was in a different company.

I do not know what to do,it looks all confusing now and HSMP looks a far dream !!!!!!!!!

Anybody please guide,
Sandip.

DEar sandip_panigrahi

ITR is mandatory have a look on the Application Form.
Two main evidence that U need to supply:
-Wage Slip
- ITR cover the whole period claim

If your ITR does not cover the whole period claim (apply to your case ITR 034/2006 - 04/2007)

You to thick "Exceptional circumstance" and provide more evidence which are:
- Bank Statement
- Letter from employer state salary as claimed.

There are already a few people use the reason that U r using to avoid ITR and get rejected. If U r working in the country where there is no tax document available than they might consider your applicaiton without ITR.
But U could certainly try your luck, fingers cross.

Well.

Bank Statememt is a MUST...And that too on official Bank paper..
Try to explain in your cover letter about "Name" of company on statement

Now a days HSMP is getting very strict,so even a single mistake can result in rejection.

I think whatis a must is
-Wage Slip &
- ITR to cover the whole period claimed. Otherwise need to submit further evidence.

It is clear on the application form.

All you need is:

01. 12 months wage slips
02. ITR for Aug 2006 - March 2007
03. Letter from employer

This is what question no 33 of FAQs of HSMP official website tells.

Please don't post the same question multiple times :( I just answered your question in the other thread where you posted your question.
