Child settlement visa refused

hi my son visa was refused because the entry officer said that he dies not believe that my son is my real son because on ny first application to the uk I did not mention that I have a son and my right to appeal is limited to section 84 of nationality immigration and asylum act 2002 . I dont know what to do reapply or appeal with dna report
cheers

Did you supply child's birth certificate?

Appeal within time limit first and see what happens at the ECM review.

You may supply additional evidence.

Note: for free DNA testing, ask the Entry Clearance Manager to offer it to you and give his authority.
SET7.11 DNA testing wrote:11.3 SET7.11.3 Is the DNA test compulsory?
DNA tests are:

not compulsory; and,
are only undertaken with the agreement of the applicant(s) (and sponsor);
can only be offered with the prior authority of an Entry Clearance Manager; and,
are only undertaken by the company contracted by UKBAIG to do these tests (currently Cellmark).
For full guidance on the process to follow when a DNA test is required look at the DNA information contained in the ‘Running a Visa Section’ on the Entry Clearance Toolkit on FCO Net.
