Salary Certificate from Employer

Post by nsm2010 » Wed Aug 01, 2007 8:10 am

Dear Buddies,
I am preparing my application for HSMP in Saudi Arabia. I got my salary certificate from my employer for last 15 months ( instead of last 12 months out of last 15 months) stating my salary and all other allowances. It also stating the monthly salary as well. If you multiply monthly salary x 12 months, you are getting required amount to claim 45 points in Band B. similarly if you break up amount of last 15 months into 12 months, you are getting the same amount; to claim 45 points in Band B. Now my queries are;
1) Will it be ok to provide 15 months salary certificate?
2) This salary certificate is been printed in English, the Letter Head is in English and employers contact information as well, but stamp of employer and signature and stamp attestation from local chamber of commerce is in Arabic. should i get these stamps translated?
3) In case if I am providing 15 months salary certificate, then should i furnish 15 months salary slips as well?

Will appreciate your suggestions in this regard

according to HSMP guidelines provide the adequate information ... extra evidence or information can cause the delay in decision.
Why make things complicated for the case worker ...

Please don't consider dividing 15 months pay into 12 months, that is not how it works.
Yes provide the salary slips with the employer's verfication.

If the letter clearly states earnings in the form of:

January: £x
February: £y
March: £z

etc then that is fine, and you only need provide the payslips for the months for which you are claiming.

If the letter only states the overall earnings, then you need a new letter which specifies earnings for the months for which you are claiming.
