Traveling to My Home country Impact my Visa Process

Hi All , I have a question i am on a Sponsor Visa by My Sons Wife , I am gonna apply for Indefinite Leave to remain before September 2015 , also my visa is not on passport but on paper . I wanted to know can i travel to my home country PAKISTAN on a Paper Visa or do i have to transfer it to Passport and also would it impact on me applying for Perminent Visa next year if i go for a visit to my country ?? I would be so happy for your reply ...
