English language for Tier1 dependent Document Graduation

Post by puneetdwd » Sat Dec 06, 2014 8:00 pm

Hi,
i am on Tier1 and my wife on dependent is tier1 dependent visa. I need clarity on English language requirement for dependent. one of my friend has applied with Degree taught in English and recognised in PBS calculator for main.
my dependent's degree is recognised but her name is little different from her name in Passport ....as in Maharastra state all degrees given a father First name as Middle name which is no where ...so how do proof that the degree name is for same person? The name is not even on our Indian marriage certificate...Do she need to provide an affidavit from Indian Court? please let me know..

thanks

You mean the degree got her surname? If yes, then i dont see any issues here (her passport must have her surname as well).

Hi
No even her passport doesn't have her previous surname...
The degree has a middle name + her parental surname which is no where mentioned niether her passport nor marriage certificate
although first name +new surname (mine) is every where.

Thanks

Given the complexities involved, I would advice you to better take a english test to clear the lanuage requirement rather than risk your application.
It is pretty easy and straight-forward.
