GETTING NAME CORRECTED ON INDIAN PASSPORT

Hi All,

I have my name mentioned completely in my passport in family name section and surname section was empty when it was issued.
It has been like this for years and I am in UK on Tier 2 ICT visa.

SURNAME:
FAMILY NAME: SIDDHARTH SINGH

Since I am planning to apply for Australian PR, I am planning to get it changed to below by applying at Birmingham consulate.

SURNAME: SINGH
FAMILY NAME: SIDDHARTH

How would I transfer my UK visa from old to new passport?> Do I need to do anything for my spouse as well.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Your surname is your family name. So the details mentioned in the original post are incorrect. I presume that you want to distinguish between family name and given name.
