OCI Inprogress- Emergency Travel to India

Dear friends,
hope few of you would be able to throw some light here on my below query....
I am about to apply for OCI in Londonl and i believe the current processing time is approx.10 weeks. My concern is what in this case i have to travel to India on an emergency (say within few hours)? Can i apply for an emergency India Visa or is there a Visa on Arrrival as i would be having my British Passport. My parents are aged and about 1 month back i had to travel to india on an emergency as my dad was very ill and hospitalised
