Applying visa to UK using 'passport before marriage'

Post by hopeUk » Sun Dec 21, 2014 8:34 pm

Hi friends, i have a question. I am already in UK.My wife has to apply Tier2 ICT Dependent visa from India. Can she apply using her passport which does not have marriage status (i.e. No 'partner' name) on it ? She has the marriage certificate.
Or is it mandatory that after marriage she has to get a new passport on which her partner's name will there on that passport?
Please let me know you comments.

Thanks in Advance for helping

Not necessary. She can apply with her current passport.

Spouse name not mandatory on the passport, marriage certificate is mandatory.
