Bank Statements - Funds for EC?

Can joint bank accounts with parents/siblings be used for Funds - EC?

Can fixed term bank deposits be used too?

Money, beyond a certain amount, will go in high interest earning deposits.

Also, can I submit attested copies of the various bank statements/deposits/account books for EC application instead of original?

Kindly advise.
