Switching from Tier (E) Dependent

Hello all

Is it at all possible for someone who has been a Tier 1 (General) dependent for 3 years then Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) dependent for another 3 years (due to expire in mid-2016) to then switch to Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) as the main applicant providing the conditions can be met?

Any insight would be much appreciated.
