Pls advise..EEA1/EEA2 self sufficient applicants

Post by nettan » Tue Jan 06, 2015 12:53 pm

I need your advice.

1. I am an EU Citizen looking to exercising EU Treaty Right in the UK
2. My wife is Non EEA citizen, Obtained EEA Family Permit August 2013.
3. My wife lives in London at my brother's residence while i currently work in Ireland but go to London often. This is to enable us safe enough money prior to the application
4. We now want to apply for EEA1/EEA2 on self Sufficiency. We have some money saved up over 14 months with evidence from my job in Ireland

My question is how much money is sufficient for the application?
What is the average cost of CSI and can you recommend an insurance company?

Any further advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
nettan.

Many thanks,
Nettan

There is no fixed amount to prove self sufficiency rather individual circumstances are usually taken into consideration but most importantly the EU national must have access to those funds. A lot of threads are available which can be searched about self sufficiency.
