What happens to on EEA wifes status?

Hi Forum
Can anyone confirm what a non EEA wifes status would be if she was granted a 5 year RC and has resided in the UK but its due to expire in February 2015 and she has to travel abroad for a family wedding in March 2015.

Its unlikely that the application for PR would be dealt with before she travels and so she will be abroad when the RC expires. What will be her status and how will she get back into the UK? does she have to apply for a EEA family permit all over again?

Its unlikely that the application for PR would be dealt with before she travels and so she will be abroad when the RC expires. What will be her status Still legal no change to her status providing you still exercising treaty rights
and how will she get back into the UK? majority of airlines will refuse her boarding the plane[/color].
does she have to apply for a EEA family permit all over again? most likely in order to board a plane back to UK
