THIRD PARTY SUPPORT & SPOUSE VISA

hi i checked on internet everywhere i could not find any information about that a third party support is not allowed in entry clearance application.
I even checked with my local law centre and they have not got any knowledge about any change.
So i dont know who come with this news ?

I was basically enquiring about my hubby going to his country(been a absconder asylum seeker) and apply for entry clearance but we were planning to have my parents as co-sponsor financially. But i dont know whats gonna happen.
Any help will be appreciated please
