Can we extend "extension period" before applying for ILR?

Hello

A silly question ...
Is it possible to extend the extension period before I apply for ILR?

I am due to apply for ILR in two months but I was wondering if I can get another 4-5 months before I apply for ILR??
Is something like this possible and under what circumstances?

The reason I need to do this is a personal reason otherwise most of my paperwork in in order and I just need to take the life in the UK test.

You can extend your visa, if you have enough points.

Does extending my visa affect my ILR application? Which points system is applicable in this case (Tier 1 general)?

no there is no impact on your ILR application. you can use tier 1 points calculator
