transferring eea residence card

hi, just wondering what is the process of transferring the eea residence card to a new passport. my old passport with the eea residence card is lost and my i have to apply for my new passport. my eea residence card was valid until sep 2017.
any info will be much appreciated.

As far as I remember there is no procedure of "transfer". You have to apply exactly the same as 1st time. Their logic is that EEA2 is a mere confirmation of your existing rights, not a "visa". And since your circumstances may have changed, in order to confirm your rights "as of today" they need documents from you showing that you still have those rights.

do you know roughly what is the processing time and what is the fees for applying the eea application again ?

Same as in the first time (up to 6 months).
Check the FAQ before posting!
Citizenship (adults, children, passport)
EEA (EEA FP, RC, PR, Surinder Singh)
