Settelement Visa-Wife help

Post by sami123786 » Mon Feb 09, 2015 8:04 pm

Hi,
Hi I'm applying for a settlement visa for my wife next week in shaa Allah. I wanted to be clear of the documents I am submitting;

Sponsor's documents

-Photocopy of Passport bio page and visa stamps
-Cover letter
-Accommodation proof and signed by notary, with declaration from my father who is the house owner
-Mortgage statement for proof ownership
-Sponsor's declaration with signature and signed by notary
-Random Facebook message screenshots
-Employment letter
-Supporting letter from my mother
-6 months pay slips with letterheaded bank statements confirming each payments
-Confirmation letters from accountant showing NI/TAX received by HMRC

Applicant's Documents (Wife)

-Photocopy of Passport bio page
-NIC card
-Cover letter
-Nikah certificate
-Medical TB test certificate
-IELTS test certificate
-2 x passport sized photos
-Wedding pics
-Wedding dress receipt

I'm a bit confused with the VAF4A application I'm going to fill the application on my wifes behalf.

Do I need to download and fill in Appendix 2?

Do I need to download and fill in SU07 sponsorship undertaking form?

Also my wage is exactly £18, 600 for the year as I work in my fathers shop and have shown earnings of £1,550 per month. Will this affect my application?

Secondly my wife stays in Islamabad at the moment but on her NIC card her addresss from Karachi. Will this affect application.

And, finally what is the length of time between completing application and appointment?

Thankyou all for your help.

Remove the wedding dress receipt. It's unnecessary.
Remove the SU07 sponsorship undertaking form. It wan't designed for a spouse visa application.
Yes, you need to download and fill in Appendix 2.
£18, 600 is the minimum financial requirement, therefore you should be fine.
