South African family moving to Ireland HELP!

Post by kimbp » Tue Feb 10, 2015 12:25 am

I am in the process of obtaining my Irish passport through ancestory and registration on the foreign birth register and am a south African citizen and resident.

I am planning to move to Ireland wit h my spouse of 12 years and my two children who are all South African citizens.

I have never lived or worked in Ireland.

What are the requirements and laws pertaining me moving there and my family joining me?
What visa would they need to be able to live and work (my husband) in Ireland?

We would want to open our own tourist based business once we have arrived there as it is what we currently do in South Africa.
What are the laws pertaining us wanting to open our own business rather than find employment?
Any and all info and links would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
