[URGENT] eaning period split in two countries with study gap

Post by rraza » Fri Aug 17, 2007 5:00 pm

hi all

i am a first timer here and seeking your advice

can any one suggest me what should i do with my earning period. here is the timeline stated below

1. i did bsc from sept 2000 to june 2004.

2. Worked in my home country from june 2004 to sept 2005.

3. did msc in UK from sept 2005 to march 2007

4. switched to SEGS visa(1 year work permit) from student visa in april 2007

6. i have been on job from april 2007 to date in london (23K gross per annum)

Can any one tell me the best way to count my last 12 months earning period? i have been working in uk only since april so i am a bit confused if i can apply hsmp on the basis of only my uk earnings or do i need to include prefessional period before my msc as well to cover for 12 months earning time.

secondly i scored 7.5 in ielts before coming to uk and did my msc from london so will i still be needing to do fresh ielts or not?

Thanks

Hi Rraza,

U dont have to cover the entire 12 months period. If your earings from april 2007 can give u enough points for the earning. Your MSC will fetch u 35 points, UK exp - 5, Age ?, with the addition of ur monthly payment since april 2007.

I dont think you need to do IELTS again, find out from the HOme office customer service.
