First adult and child British Passports

Post by summer08 » Mon Feb 16, 2015 9:59 pm

I am applying for first adult British passport after naturalisation and my son (12 yrs old born abroad) applying for first British passport after registration.
The passport I used to come into the UK for the first time is expired( not cancelled) and I have another valid one.
1-Should I send both passports with my application or only the current valid one?
2- In addition to certificate of naturalisation / registration and passports what other supporting documents I need to send ?
3-Which is better, to send myself both applications together or use Post office's check and send service and send them separately?
Thanks in advance.
