Canadian education relevant in Irealnd?

Post by Kasn33 » Tue Feb 17, 2015 7:06 am

Hello...

I can't seem to find information about relevance of Canadian post secondary education and the relevance in Ireland. If you hold a college diploma, is it equivalent to anything? Or will I need to 'upgrade' my education to be recognized?

Thanks so much

It really depends on what of degree/diploma you are thinking about.

Anything related to heavily regulated and country specific fields will likely not translate very well (for example a qualification in law). Something in more generic fields shouldn't be much of an issue (for example a qualification in IT).
