Tier 1 to ILR earning period

Hi group,

My initialTier 1 general issued on 28-1-11 and entered UK on 10-2-11 and after 1st extension my visa expires on 28-1-16, as 28 days rule I assume I can apply only after 1-1-16 for ILR, in that case can I claim my earnings from Oct 2014- Sep 2015 or should claim from Nov 2014- Oct 2015 for consecutive 12 months in last 15 months.

If you are applying for ILR in Jan 2016, then you can show your earnings from Jan2015 to Dec2015 (12 months).. Oct 2014 would be your 15 months start..
Oct 2014- Sep 2015 or Nov 2014- Oct 2015 - it does not matter as long as it is within 15months prior to the date of your application.

Thanks for the reply. It seems I need to use from Oct2014-Sep2015 period due to my self employed contract work. My doubt is if I apply ILR on 10-1-16 then can I show my salary period from 1-10-14 or should I calculate from 10-10-14 in line with 15 months period.

If you are applying on 10th Jan, then you will need to show earnings from 10th October 2014 onwards.
