return of orginal documents

quick question:

applied for my son _1 yr_registered british citizen under section 1(3)
applied for his passport on 6th feb
got the passport on 17th feb
but i sent his original registration certificate and original full uk birth certificate
i didnot recieve them yet? when will i recieve them?
i need them to apply for his OCI card to travel to india?

anybody with same problems and still waiting for original supporting docs sent to passport office

Documents can take further up to two weeks to arrive.
No idea about OCI as I am not indian but there is thread about immigration about other countries on main page so check that out.
