Inherting Agriculture land in India

I am planning to apply for British Passport.Please clarify the below
My father has agriculture land, will i be able to inherit them?

Hi Mathya,

You cannot buy one once you become a Foreign citizen but no one can stop you getting as part of Inheritence.
Dont worry.

In any part of the world if any parent want to give his son/daughter their property, no one should stop isnt it.

The above article also says that.

I am taking a line from there 'NRIs and Foreign citizens of Indian origin cannot acquire agricultural land by way of gift. They can only acquire agricultural land by inheritance.'
