ILR Can I apply before 30March 2015

Hi,

My friend got Tier-2 employer sponsor visa with entry clearance stamp of 13-04-2010. He came to UK on 04-05-2010 and have been here ever since going outside UK only few times on holidays, not exceeding official limit.

He wants to know if he can apply for ILR around 30-03-2015 as it is within 28 days limit of 13-04 (2010 + five years). Primary reason is simple: fees are going to increase from 1093 per person to 1500 plus PSC fee.

Would it be OK to apply around end of March in this case for ILR?

IMHO your friends needs to complete the 5 years for ILR eligibility

1) Sorry but No ! Is ILR more important to you or money? kindly note that there could be chances of visa rejection if it is not within 28 days. patience is the virtue ! good luck
2. Hang on please? you said he entered in apr-may 2010, have you checked that he is eligible to apply for ILR??
