Hi,

I have a question which I could not find a definite answer to it. it is actually for my friend,

is it possible that someone applies for Spouse visa and uses just cash saving (£63000) for financial requirements? I've heard that it could be used on its own and it should be used to compensate shortfall in income.

Yes it is possible, provided it has been held for a period of 6 months and he has immediate access to it.
