Holidays for more than 30 days

Post by Amit_198705 » Thu Mar 05, 2015 5:58 pm

Hi

I am on Tier 2 visa. I was planning to go to home country for45 days as haven't been for more than 2 years. I have spoken to my employer & he is ok to approve me 45 days holiday.

Visa from FEB2015-feb 2018. I was on PSW before that. Applied for tier1(50k route) it was refused so applied for tier 2.

My question is can I go for more than 30 days/1calendar month holiday if my sponsored approves it or can he approve that.

Thanks

ILR continous residency calculation guideline says the absence from UK will be calculated to see if it is in line with what the general trend is in the UK.

While 45 days might not sent off a big alarm make sure you get a letter from your employer certifying your absence from the UK indicating leave and arrival date.
